#OurDemocracy Deep Dives Living Democracy
We face some of the most daunting challenges in human history – fires, floods and heat like never before. A pandemic has turned the world upside down, causing deep racial, social and economic injustices to flare to the surface.
Can our democracy as we know it, adequately rise to address these issues with the urgency required? Do alternative models exist, and how can we begin to start living them?
#OurDemocracy is pleased to welcome Tim Hollo – musician, environmentalist, community activist and author of new book Living Democracy to our next Deep Dives webinar.
On this webinar, we’ll dive into the themes of the book, exploring the principles of a living, participatory democracy that can rise up to the challenges we face. And more importantly, we’ll discuss how we can embed these principles in our everyday lives to create a healthy democracy that puts people and the planet at the heart of decision-making.
